Kellie's Mom.....Becki

Rebecca L. Simpson was born in the Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania the very same hospital were she delivered her two precious children into the world.  Kenneth was 7 lbs. 6 oz.'s and Kellie was 7 lbs. even. Their mother was overjoyed to have given birth to first a beautiful boy and then a precious girl.  Rebecca's mother, Ruth E. Simpson, and her father, Richard P. Simpson, Sr., have both passed away.  She has four brother's, John, Richard, Jr., David and Robert.  She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and took credit courses at Penn State and Washington & Jefferson College.  She is a Commercial Artisit.

She married her children's father after graduating from art school and divorced him on December 05, 1977.  She elected to legally resume her maiden name at that time. 

Becki delighted in raising her children and took care of many other children.  She was nicknamed the "Piped Piper of Stuyvensant Village" because everywhere she went she had a crew of children surrounding her.  She always said, "If you are going to watch one child you may as well have a dozen!"  Off to the museum they would pile into her car and go to feed the ducks, play in the park and picnic.
